Gory Accident; Coach E.K Afranie dead

An ambulance carrying Black Stars’ former coach, Emmanuel Kwesi (EK) Afranie to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi was involved in an accident, leading to his death. The accident occurred around Bunso but the cause has not been established at the time of going to press.
He was earlier admitted at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after suffering a mild stroke. He qualified the Black Starlets to the World Cup in 1991 and 1997.
He handled the Black Queens when the team made it to the World Cup in 1999.
The body has since been deposited at the Suhum Government Hospital.
