The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), Margaret Ansei, was represented by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Prince Mamoud Iddrisu, at the Business Networking Week International (BNWI) 2026 held in Italy.
The event, organised by MACFRUT under the INSPIRE Project, brought together selected entrepreneurs and key stakeholders from across Africa and Europe to promote internationalisation, strengthen Africa–Italy business relations, and create sustainable opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

This year’s edition focused exclusively on Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and was supported by the INSPIRE Project, an initiative funded by the Italian Cooperation aimed at enhancing MSME competitiveness, innovation, and professional integration within Ghana’s business environment.

The participation highlighted the growing influence and contribution of women entrepreneurs to Ghana’s economic growth and development.
The event also provided Ghanaian businesses with the opportunity to establish strategic partnerships, explore new markets, and engage with international investors and industry players.

The Ghana Enterprises Agency reaffirmed its commitment to fostering strategic international collaborations, expanding global opportunities for Ghanaian businesses, and empowering MSMEs to thrive competitively on the global stage.
