The Chief Executive Officer of Golden Frimps Ltd, Solomon Nana Frimpong, has advised young people to stay away from bad company and resist peer pressure that could destroy their future.
According to the business executive and youth advocate, many talented young people have lost their lives, dreams, and opportunities because of negative influence from friends and social groups.
Speaking on Radio1 100.7FM with Nana Kwabena Addo, host of Oman Mu Nsem, Mr. Frimpong addressed the growing challenges facing the youth. He particularly advised students who recently completed the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) not to allow peer pressure to lead them into drug abuse, gambling, stealing, internet fraud, violence, and other immoral activities.
“Avoid bad company. Do not allow peer pressure to lead you into drug abuse, gambling, stealing, internet fraud, violence, or immoral activities. One wrong decision can destroy your future,” he stated.

Mr. Frimpong stressed that discipline, hard work, honesty, and good friendships are the foundation for a successful life. He encouraged the youth to focus on education, entrepreneurship, skills training, and positive lifestyles that will help them become responsible citizens in society.
He also appealed to parents, religious leaders, teachers, and community stakeholders to actively guide and mentor young people to make wise decisions.
Mr. Frimpong noted that the increasing involvement of some young people in cybercrime, substance abuse, and violent behaviour should be a major concern for society. According to him, the future of every nation depends on the character and mindset of its younger generation.
The CEO of Golden Frimps Ltd concluded by urging young people to choose their friends wisely and remain focused on building a brighter future for themselves and their families.
