Dee Mayor Begins Nationwide Grassroots Consultations with Okaikoi North Visit

Deputy National Organizer hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), David Selassie Anthony, popularly known as “Dee Mayor,” has begun a nationwide grassroots consultation tour aimed at strengthening party structures and mobilization efforts ahead of future political engagements.
On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Dee Mayor paid a working visit to the Okaikoi North Constituency, where he held strategic consultations with the constituency leadership. He was warmly received by the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni, together with members of the Constituency Executive Committee (CEC).
Discussions during the meeting focused on revitalizing the constituency, deepening grassroots participation, and rallying collective support behind President John Dramani Mahama’s reset agenda. The engagement also emphasized the need for unity and stronger organizational structures across all levels of the party.

The constituency leadership expressed their full support for Dee Mayor’s political aspirations and commended his longstanding commitment to grassroots mobilization and party development. They described him as a dedicated son of the constituency and an effective mobilizer whose contributions to the party merit recognition.
Dee Mayor’s political roots trace back to Okaikoi North, where he served three terms as a Branch Communications Officer. In further demonstration of his commitment to the growth and reorganization of the constituency, he made a cash donation to support ongoing activities of the Constituency Executive Committee.
The Okaikoi North engagement marks the first in a series of constituency visits expected to take place across the country in the coming weeks as Dee Mayor intensifies consultations with party faithful and grassroots supporters.
