Politics: Mahama Alone Is Bigger Than Whoever NPP Brings As Flagbearer And Running Mate – Opare Djan

The Managing Editor for Daily Democrat who doubles as a national communication member for the largest opposition party in Ghana, National Democratic Congress, NDC, Emmanuel Opare Djan has surprisingly but confidently stated without mincing words that irrespective of who the ruling NPP brings on board as their flagbearer and running mate, the name Mahama alone is bigger than both combined, in that, Mahama does not need the influence of a running mate to win power in 2020.

The vociferous communicator revealed that the unprecedented achievements of former President John Dramani Mahama makes him superior over the contenders in the other political party.

In a studio discussion on the Susubiribi morning show on Radio 1FM 100.7MHZ on Monday April 15 2019, the renowned journalist and communicator acknowledged the developmental infrastructure under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration and based on that to make his argument.

“Mahama alone is bigger than whoever becomes the presidential candidate and running mate for NPP. Look at the number of community schools he built. The hospitals, roads etc. We don’t need any powerful running mate before Mahama wins election 2020”, he posited etc.

He made these revelations when the host, Nana Kwabena Addo Papabi, quizzed him on who he thinks is best candidate to support Former president Mahama in his bid to become the president of Ghana for a second term.

There has been numerous rumours and various names circulating especially on social media on who becomes the running mate for JM in 2020.
