Radio 1 and Creators Family Church donates to Koforidua prison

In a heartwarming gesture, Radio1 and Creators Family Church donated items worth of 12,000 to the Koforidua Prison.

Senior Officer Kumi Richard, overseeing the morning shift, expressed profound gratitude, acknowledging the challenges of caring for prisoners.

“The government is doing their best but it is not enough, this donation is going to help us to take care of the prisoners”, he said.

He emphasized the invaluable assistance provided by Radio 1 and the Creators Family Church, underscoring their ongoing commitment to support the prison’s efforts.

“This is not the first time Radio 1 and Creators Family Church has donated to us, you’ve done this before and here you are again, thank you”.

Evangelist Danso Okra, the founder of the Creators Family Church, echoed sentiments of gratitude and divine purpose, stating that their contribution was a manifestation of the Lord’s work.

“It’s the doing of the Lord and we give thanks to him”, Evangelist Danso said.

He emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in aiding those unjustly confined, highlighting their dedication to continuing such donations.

“The donation is not going to end here, this won’t be the last time, we will continue to help”, he added.

Okra further revealed that their combined efforts had amounted to a generous donation of cedis, emphasizing the plight of individuals who may be wrongly incarcerated, “not all those who are in prison are guilty”.

He stressed the importance of ongoing support and affirmed their commitment to extend assistance to others in need, ensuring that their charitable efforts would not cease with this singular act of kindness.
