Taxi Drivers of Upper Manya Krobo in the Eastern Region have expressed their disappointments at the District Chief Executive Officer of the constituency for gross display of nepotism, ethnocentrism and biased in his mandate.
They claim the DCE, chooses at his own discretion to man the district to suit his family, cronies and parochial advantages.
Excerpts from their release reads;
“The assembly allowed OKADA Ridders to load in the station without number plates and not to pay taxes and daily tolls to the assembly.”
The drivers allege the DCE claimed the Okada Riders supported the Party during campaign and they should work as a reward.
The drivers therefore appeal to the government that amoang other problems, the bad road network in Upper Manya Krobo is advantageous to Okada Riders thereby making their work difficult.
