Ensure Peace through Justice – Bishop Owusu Ansah Cautions EC

The Founder and Leader of Family Harvest International Ministry (FHIM), Bishop Kwame Owusu Ansah, has sent a word of caution to the Electoral Commission of Ghana’s Chairperson, Mrs. Charlotte Osei to ensure peace through justice before, during and after this year’s general elections. He said peace thrives where there is justice and there can never be peace without justice.

He also advised all political parties to accept the results in the declaration of Electoral Commission and refrain from violent acts because it is only God who chooses His leader for His nation.

The Bishop also admonished the commission to deal fairly with all the political parties to rubbish to allegations and perception that it is working in favour of a particular candidate or party.

Speaking on the midday news on Radio1 he said “God loves Ghana and he has laid a firm foundation of peace therefore we must ensure we build on it as such”

“Should we indulge in unacceptable acts that will plague this country in chaos because of politics” he quizzed.

The Electoral management body has come under attack recently in the discharge of its duties in the run-up to this year’s election by some political parties, civil society organisations and individuals.
