The Volta Regional Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joseph Denteh has lashed out the Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, calling him a ‘mentally sick person’.
The treasurer said this in response to a press conference held by Mr Anyidoho in Ho where the deputy scribe alleged to have intercepted a document that contains plans by the Volta regional NPP executive to intimidate the NDC members in the region on the voting day to reduce the party’s (NDC) votes.
Mr. Anyidoho further stated that, the NPP is in desperation because their presidential candidate is not loved by the people in the region.
Speaking to Captain Kofi Wusu, the host of Radio1 morning show, Mr. Denteh said ‘Koku Anyidoho has a mental problem, I am telling you because we don’t know anything about what he is saying’.
‘We have no such plans to intimidate anybody’ he further stated.
Pius Hadzide, a Special Aide to Nana Addo who also commented on issue said ‘Mr Anyidoho is a liar and he is shocked where the deputy national secretary got the documents from. He wondered whether it was the late Prof. Mills’ ghost that conjured the documents to him’.
He further said’ Mr. Anyidoho just wants his voices to be heard because he has been sidelined in the NDC party so he wants to say anything to seek attention’.
