President Nana Addo To Lay Wreath On His Father’s Tomb At Kibi TRoday

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will on Sunday make a triumphant entry to Kibi, his hometown in the Eastern region to hold thanksgiving service with the local Council of Churches.

The new President is expected to pay a courtesy call on the Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin and the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council.

He will later lay wreath on the tomb of his late father Joseph Boakye Dankwa and the Late William Ofori Atta.

The visit of Nana Addo to his hometown is historic having been the first land to step foot after being sworn-in as the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Linguist to Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin, Okyeame Kwadwo Antwi Bosiako told Ultimate News’ Kojo Ansah, all is set to receive their royal who is now the President of Ghana.

Meanwhile, most residents are busily preparing the environment to welcome President Nana Akufo Addo by cleaning and painting their houses whiles others too are hoisting flags and banners of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to welcome their illustrious son.

The youth say, President Akufo Addo is a visionary leader who can help them out of their predicaments of unemployment.

Majority of Abuakwa South constituents decided to sleep over in Accra in order to accompany their illustrious royal to Kibi on Sunday.

The President is expected to receive a mammoth welcome on Sunday.
