The 6th edition of Foklex Media Awards took place yesterday 1st April 2017 at the Golden Tulip hotel, and the big boys were all there and your number one Radio Station Radio1 won two prestigious awards.
Radio1 was nominated in seven categories,
- Best Morning Show Host of the year.
- Best Mid – Morning Host of the year.
- Entertainment Show of the year.
- Social Program of the year.
- Drive Time Host of the year.
- Personality of the year.
- Best DJ of the year.
Their hard work paid off, when they won two prestigious awards; Best Morning Show host of the year, Captain Kofi Owusu and Drive Time host of the year, Bishop Agbe Jnr.
