‘WHERE HAS THIS BRAVO BEEN?!’ – FANS REACT TO MAN CITY GOALKEEPERS PENALTY HEROICS

The Chile goalkeeper saved all three Portugal penalties as the Copa America champions advanced to the final of the Confederations Cup

Claudio Bravo’s season with Manchester City may not have gone according to plan, but he couldn’t have dreamed for a better Confederations Cup.

For the third straight summer, Chile will be in the final of an international tournament and if they manage to take home silverware once more, the keeper will be a big reason as to why.

Bravo stopped all three spot-kicks he faced as Chile advanced past Portugal on penalties – something that no doubt left fans of Manchester City stunned after a very uneven Premier League campaign from the shot-stopper.

On the other side, one of those who did not step up to the spot for Portugal was Cristiano Ronaldo, with Ricardo Quaresma, Joao Moutinho and Nani all missing.

And fans were quick to react to both Bravo’s heroics and just what Ronaldo might have been thinking as he could only watch in despair.

Claudio Bravo made as many saves in the penalty shootout against Portugal as in the Premier League in 2017 (3).

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, Claudio Bravo is a brilliant goalkeeper

*cough*
