COYAD Is Not Sabotaging Fanteakwa South MP

Concerned Youth Association For Development (COYAD), a pressure group in the eastern region has said the speculations gone viral on social media and other media platforms suggesting the group, COYAD is against the Member of Parliament for the Fanteakwa South District, Hon. Agyekum Okyere Kofi, (who is famously known by his constituents as Arafat) has no truth in it.

In an interview with the Convener, Mark Ofori, He told Radio 1 News that, the  publication is spreading palpable lies about COYAD and at no condition will the group downplay, intimidate and intentionally lower the reputation of the district and its Member of Parliament, Mr Arafat. Rather, they made constructive and objective analysis, devoid of malice, hatred and fabrications.

Below is the full statement of the rebuttal;

RE:

Concerned Youth Association For Development (COYAD) the Thought provoking and concerned youth group warmly appreciate the rate our initial concern of low development  has gone down to the root of fanteakwa south constituents.

We are taking this opportunity to add more constructive criticism to what we spoke on previously. First of all, COYAD, we want to make it clear to the good people of Fanteakwa South that COYAD is positive and concerned to the development of the various societies in Fanteakwa south and beyond.

Due to our commitment to the society we wish to express every truth and hold on till there is positive results.

Now we want to state it clearly and vividly that, we have not come to destroy the name of our Hon. Member of Parliament as it was described by some greedy people around him. COYAD is a responsible pressure group and we do not have irresponsible attitude and bad intentions in our DNA as the greed quickly responded and insulted the members of the group and the people of Fanteakwa south.

We are giving Nkumsah the constituency organizer a free sensible advice to be respectful to everyone in the constituency because we all have different opinions but one common agenda and is to develop the societies and beyond.

COYAD, we are mature and we will not respond to your politics of insult but rather continue to speak and alarm the voice of the people.

On a different line, we want to poke the greedy-stomach politician that, they should stop backing and accept constructive criticism.

Now, we ask, when would the Osino Methodist School, Bosuso Presby KG school, Bepoase Methodist School be completed if you are not falsely claiming there is an ongoing maintenance.

We are alerting the masses to discard the claim of Asedja Electrification, borehole project, street light and many more projects they claim is ongoing since the year 2014.

In a cool challenge we want the greedy stomach poiticians to list the number of project they have lobbied and done for the society since they lied to us to assume  honorable positions in our society.

Mark Ofori alleged one Nkumsa, who is also alleged as the Organiser for the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Fanteakwa South district as spreading the falsehood about COYAD as an attempt to create enmity between the MP and COYAD. All attempts to reach Nkumsah for his side of story also remained futile.
