The General Secretary of the Opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia a.k.a. General Mosquito has called on the Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party, NPP government to stop the unnecessary harassment on the former NDC appointees.
Mr Asiedu Nketia on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at the NDC’s Press Conference at the Party’s National Headquarters in Accra when addressing the Press on how the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo have deliberately descended on the former appointees of the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama led – NDC administration
According to General Mosquito, the NPP administration has turned everything upside down and advised H.E. Nana Akuf-Addo to rather concentrate on his poor governance to make Ghana a better country as before.
He said, the NPP government has spent a whopping $6.8m on fake audit report, yet has no money to provide the requisite logistics for the special prosecutor to carry out his duties of investigating the numerous corruption going on in his administration as well as the purported ones in former administrations.
Again, General Mosquito said, it would be better if the government concentrates on investigating the $1.5m star time’s Rebecca Akufo bribery scandal, $1.2m National Identification Card and many more which they need answers to it.
He also stated that the NDC leadership has advised former NDC appointees not to submit themselves to any so called investigative processes of the private companies.
Mr Asiedu Nketia known in his Party’s administration as NDC Mugabe is seeking re-election as the Party’s General Secretary and is being contended by his deputy, Mr Koku Anyidohu.
