The vibrant youth in Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC are disgruntled with the assertion that the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP has fulfilled their campaign promise by establishing 30 factories in the municipality as part of the 1D 1F flagship promise.
In a phone interview with Lawrence Portuphy, the communication officer for NDC in Nsawam Adoagyiri, he told the host of the Susubiribi Morning Show on Radio 1FM, 100.7MHZ, Captain Kofi Owusu on Wednesday January 23 2019 that his MCE , Hon. Isaac Kwadjo Buabeng spewed gross lies and blatantly misled the general public especially the natives of Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal.
“The MCE was heard on a radio station saying they have completed 30 factories and all these are lies. Come and see how the Youth are suffering here and looking for jobs but can’t find. Where are those 30 factories. Why is Nsawam Adoagyiri the only Municipality Eastern Region?” he retorted.
Portuphy can not fathom how the MCE could lie to the extent that he could not even say they have built just one or two factories since he cannot even one factory built in Nsawam Adoagyiri and so urged him to apologise as soon as possible.
“The MCE must apologise to us because he has disgraced the municipality. We cant see any factory around”, he said.
That notwithstanding, the group has released a communique to rebut the spews of the MCE.
