Ya Naa’s new car: I’ve no information on the issue – Oppong Nkrumah

The Minister for Information says he has no information yet on whether or not President Akufo-Addo gifted Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari a new car.

There were reports that President Akufo-Addo gifted the new Overlord of Dagbon a customized Jaguar saloon car after he was outdoored on Friday, 25th January, 2018.

However, the new Yaa Naa, Mahama Abukari, is reported to have disclosed that a close friend gave the car to him even though he did not mention the name of that close friend.

Government is yet to respond to this issue.

Quizzed on the subject, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ofoase Ayirebi constituency, in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Monday’s edition of Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ said: “I have no information on such issue”.
