2020 Elections: No Sane NPP Member will Contest Nana Addo In The Primaries – NPP Secretary

The Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, Nii Odarlai Parker, is of the view that ‘no sane’ member of the ruling party would contest the sitting president in the upcoming parliamentary and presidential primaries.

The vociferous NPP scribe is of the view that the achievements of the president H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo demand that he goes unopposed.

In an phone interview with Nana Kwabena Addo, host of susubiribi morning show on Radio 1 100.7fm on Tuesday 28th January 2020, Parker as he’s affectionately called, said though the door is open for anybody to contest, he strongly believes no one will contest Prez Akufo-Addo.

“If anyone will pick forms again to contest Nana Addo then that person is controlled by evil spirits from his family. No normal person will contest him. Oh if anyone goes to pick forms again then that person needs to be sent to the hospital to find out what is wrong with that person. No sane person will contest him”. – Parker said.

He further revealed that the presidents achievements are unprecedented and therefore the need for him to go unopposed.

As to whether it’s a deliberate attempt to disqualify any other, he said no attempt or whatsoever is put in place to do that.

He therefore applauded the laudable performance of the president especially at a day he’s distributing 307 ambulances as part of fulfilment of 2016 campaign promise.
