Covid-19 Updates In Africa: Egypt Leads With Number Of Confirmed Cases While Algeria Tops Lives Lost

With 35,010 confirmed cases of the novel Covid-19 recorded in Africa, a total of 1517 live have been lost with 11043 total recoveries.
Out of the confirmed Cases Egypt is hit with 5042, 359 death and 1304 recoveries. Even though, Algeria is the fourth most hit confirmed cases of 3649, it has recorded the highest number of death in the continent. A total of 437 dead and 1651 recoveries.
South Africa is second most hit with the cases, recording 4793 cases, 90 death and 1473 recoveries. Morroco on the third place has recorded 4252 cases with 165 death, and 778 recoveries.
At number 5 is Cameroon which happens to be the first West African country has recorded 1705 cases, 58 death and 805 recoveries. Ghana, the second west Africa country is the sixth most hit in Africa with a total number of 1671 cases, 16 death and 188 recoveries.

Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Djibouti respectively follow to make the 10 most hit countries in Africa.

Surprisingly, these are the only countries in Africa that have recorded 1,000 cases and above.
Africa recorded 974 news cases today, 49 new death today, 11043 recoveries with a total of 22450 active cases and 120 in critical condition.
