Murder: 55-Year-Old Farmer Allegedly Murdered At Kukua In The Eastern Region

Mr Tettey Atiogbe, a 55yr old farmer is reportedly murdered in cold blood in his room yesterday at Kukua in suhum constituency of the eastern region.

In an phone interview with Nana Kwabena Addo of Radio 1, the assembly member for the area Hon John Addo Bekoe said he received information that the farmer was murdered in his room by unknown assailants. He described the incident as a shock to the whole community.

Hon. Bekoe added that the late Tettey Atiogbe was married and had children. “more unfortunately, the man left behind a pregnant wife” hon. Bekoe revealed.

Moreover, he could not fathom what really could have led to the assacination of the humble farmer.

The body is now deposited at Suhum government hospital waiting an autopsy and the Suhum Police command is also doing further investigation to bring the perpetrators into book.

Murder cases in the region keep escalating and it’s about time our security forces lace their boots and put on strategic measures to end the menace.
