Covid-19: 7,484,184 Recover As The Globe Contends With 4,797,333 Active Cases

The fight against the deadly coronavirus pandemic which many have likened it to a global war of the decade still goes on even as the globe has recorded 7,484,184 recoveries from the total global case count of 12,849,300.

The globe now contends with 4,797,333 after recording 567,783 global death.

A total of 8,051,967 have had an outcome, i.e. closed cases and out of that 7,484,184 representing 93% have been discharged and the 567,783 which represents 7% have lost their souls.

Currently, out of the 4,797,333 active cases, 4,738,560 patients which represents 99% are in mild condition whereas the 1% (58,773) left are in critical or serious condition.

The United States Of America, USA is the most hit country with 3,355,646 cases, 1,490,446 recovery and 137,403 deaths. Brazil is the second most hit with 1,840,812 cases with 1,213,512 recovery and death toll hits 71,492.

Europe has recorded 2,560,532 cases, 1,505,311 recoveries, 196,349 death while 5,339 are in critical conditions. North America is also hit with 3,932,960 cases out of which 1,809,277 have totally recovered and 185,333 deaths even as 19,132 are in critical or serious condition. Asia, the continent where Covid-19 begun has also recorded 2,909,223 cases and 2,007,413 recoveries with 68,961 death while 19,656 are in critical or serious condition.

On the other hand, South America has recorded 2,852,809 cases, 1,864,277 have recovered while 103,966 souls are lost and 13,647 are in critical or serious condition. Africa which was previously recording least cases is now hit with 581,595 cases with 287,924 recoveries. A total of 13,029 deaths are recorded while 978 patients are in critical condition.

The Oceania is not left out as they are also hit with 11,460 cases and recorded 9,331 recoveries. Total death toll is 130 while 17 are in critical condition.
