Covid-19: These Are The Countries Who Have Recorded 100% Recovery With No Death

Even as the entire globe is fighting the deadly coronavirus pandemic with hikes in death and confirmed cases, there are equally a few countries and terrestrial habitats in the world that have recorded 100% recoveries with no death after confirming the virus.

Though the total death recorded globally stands at 521,658 as at July 5 2020, these countries contribute to the global confirmed cases of 10,933,326 with 6,109,719 but do not add up to the active cases of 4,301,949.

Below is a list of the countries with 100% recoveries with no death;

1. Saint Pierre Miquelon, recorded its first case on April 5 2020. One (1) case one (1) recovery. Saint Pierre and Miquelon is a French archipelago south of the Canadian island of Newfoundland. Sparsely populated Miquelon-­Langlade island contains the Grand Barachois lagoon, home to seabirds and seals. The busier Saint Pierre island has a distinct French atmosphere, with a cathedral and the Musée Heritage, which celebrates regional history.

2. Anguilla, has all 3 cases recovered. It recorded its first 2 cases on 26th March 2020 and the third case on April 2 2020. Anguilla, is a British Overseas Territory in the Eastern Caribbean, comprises a small main island and several offshore islets.

3. Saint Barthélemy also has all 6 cases recovered.First two cases were confirmed on March 16 2020. Saint Barthelemy, is a French-speaking Caribbean island commonly known as St. Barts, it is known for its white-sand beaches and designer shops.

4. Caribbean Netherlands has all 7 cases recovered. First 2 cases were recorded on April 1 2020. The Caribbean Netherlands are the three special municipalities of the Netherlands that are located in the Caribbean Sea. They consist of the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, although the term “Caribbean Netherlands” is sometimes used to refer to all of the islands in the Dutch Caribbean.

5. Vatican City – 12. First 3 cases were confirmed on 24th March 2020. Vatican City is a city-state surrounded by Rome.

6., Falkland Islands – 13. First case was confirmed on April 3 2020. The Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) are a remote South Atlantic archipelago.

7., Greenland – 13. First case was recorded on March 18 2020. Greenland is the world’s largest island, located between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans, east of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. It is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark.

8., Dominica – 18. First confirmed case on March 22 2020. Dominica is a mountainous Caribbean island nation with natural hot springs and tropical rainforests.

9., Fiji – 18 cases.

10., Laos -19 cases

11., Saint Lucia – 19 cases

12., New Caledonia – 21 cases

13., Grenada – 23 cases

14., Timor-Leste – 24 cases

15., St. Vincent Grenadines – 29

There are other countries that have also recorded appreciable recoveries. This pandemic has total changed every dynamics in the world and has affected all sections of the global economy.
