Voters Registration Turnout Is An Indication Of Overwhelming Defeat For NDC – Nana B

The National Youth Organiser for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Henry Nana Boakye, known in politics as Nana B, has revealed that the turnout to the New voters registration exercise currently ongoing is a clear indication of an overwhelming defeat for NDC.

According to him, Ghanaians are poised at retaining H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as their next president and therefore a fear for the opposition NDC.

Speaking on Badwam, a political show on Adom TV, a Ghanaian based television on Wednesday July 1 2020, the affable youth leader was resolute and consistent in his submissions to suggest that the ruling NPP and the political science department of University of Ghana are vindicated, in that a majority of Ghanaians are calling for a new voters register.

“I did not expect this turn out for the first day of the exercise. According to a research from the political Science Department of the University of Ghana, about 64% Ghanaians want a new voters register and thery have been vindicated. The turn out is an indication that really they need a new register and it is an indication of an overwhelming defeat for NDC.” – Nana B said.

However, he appealed to the electoral commission to make provisions to registering students currently on campus since per regulations, they are not allowed to go out but used the opportunity to educate the public to observe the hygiene protocols to ensure their safety.

On the other hand, he expressed his disappointment in NDC for attacking K.T. Hammonds comments about voltarians.
