All Mobile Money Doublers You See On Television Are Fake, Ignore Them – Benjamin Abobi Reveals

The Eastern regional mobile money payment controller for the mobile telecommunication giant MTN Ghana, Benjamin Abobi has advised the general public to to ignore all fetish priests who go on televisions to pretend as if they are doubling their mobile monies since they are all fake.

According to the MoMo payment controller, all those videos telecast and purported to be live programs are all false as they are all recorded versions of home planned videos with the main aim of duping the citizenry.

He made this revelation in an interview with Nana Yaa Agyapomaa on Radio 1 100.7FM on Tuesday 18th August 2020 as part of MTN’s community engagement.

He therefore urged customers of the most widely used telecommunication network in Ghana to be more vigilant even as the world is advancing in technology.

Moreover, Benjamin Abobi advised Ghanaians to take control over their sim cards by using MyMTN app. Again he talked of the Ayoba app and gave out some security tips to help customers in times of need.

Security Tips

• MTN Mobile Money will NOT under any circumstance, ask for customer’s MoMo PIN code.

• MTN Mobile Money staff will not demand money from you to redeem your prize.

• Do not use MoMo PIN for a very long period.

• Change PIN at least every month.

• Customers should protect their pin numbers at all times and change them as soon as they think they have been exposed or are compromised

He urged all listeners to obey the Covid-19 safety protocols to help combat the deadly novel coronavirus pandemic.
