I Turn Off My TV Or Change The Channel Anytime I See Mahama Speaking – Kingsley Agyeman

The head of the Scholarship Secretariat in Ghana, Mr Kingsley Agyeman has revealed that he always turns off his Television anytime he sees the former president of Ghana and flag-bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Mr John Dramani Mahama speaks especially when his children are around.

According to the Ghana Scholarship boss, he holds former heads of state in high esteem but some of his utterances are unbecoming of a former head of state and would not allow his children to listen to him spew such words.

He made this statement when speaking to the media at an electoral area in Asiakwa in the Abuakwa South municipal Assembly when monitoring the electoral commission’s registration exercise on 6th August, 2020, the last day of the process in reacting to the former president’s intent to pay Assembly members when given the nod once more as the president of Ghana.

“When you bring out a statement that affects less than twenty thousand people, do you call it a policy? Some of his utterances push me to off my television or change the channel when i see him speaking on the television while my children are around. Do you know why? I have a lot of respect and reverend for former heads of state. But there are some things that he says which are unbecoming of a former head of states sometimes i turn off my television or change the channel.”- Kingsley Agyeman said.

Moreover, he added that the former president is noted for loads of unfulfilled promises and therefore cannot be taken serious for his utterances.
