WASSCE Blues: I Never Assured Students The Past Questions Were ‘Apor’ – Nana B Clarifies

The National Youth organiser for the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP, Henry Nana Boakye who is known in the political phase as Nana B has responded to claims that he went to the Senior High School to assure candidates that the past questions given to them by the president were ‘apor’ (exact questions to be asked in the WASSCE).

According to the youth leader, he is too responsible to do that so the accusations are false.

Reacting to claims by NDC guest ( PC in Abuakwa South – Nana Addo-Aikins) on the ISSUES ( a political show on Radio 1 100.7FM) a media establishment in the eastern region of Ghana, Nana B explicitly stated without mincing words that his visit to the senior high schools was purposely on the Electoral issues and not that of WASSCE or education related matters.

Even as he highly condemned the acts of the candidates who resorted to riots after their so called ‘apor’ failed them, just like many others have than, he entreated all citizens of the country to consider any comments or statements which he believes is concocted from the camp of the NDC as palpable lies and an attempt to damage his reputation.

In a phone interview with Owuraku Asamoah, host of the ISSUES, Nana B said “I went to the Senior High Schools but it was purely for the EC’s mass registration after i secured accreditation from the electoral commission with a mandate to tour the schools to monitor the process. Everywhere i went, i never talked to the students about exams so i’m shocked the NDC are saying so. I’ll never do that because i’m more responsible to do that.”

“I wasn’t even aware government had given them past questions until recent happenings. Past questions have always been a good guide but students should not over rely on them.” – Nana B maintained

However, he urged the students to admit that sometimes ‘apor’ fails and they are not the first to have their ‘apor’ failed but encouraged them to learn hard.
