Hearts of Oak Ready For The Return Of Football – Frederick Moore

Mr Frederick Moore, the Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak, has insisted the playing body of the club are ready for the return of football.

Domestic football came to a standstill in mid-March but was subsequently annulled in June due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the Ghana Football Association have scheduled October for the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

According to Frederick Moore, they are eagerly anticipating the return of the sport.

“Our job is football, so anytime football is coming, that is what we want to see,” he said.

“We are ready anytime football comes because our core business is into football, so anything outside football is just an aside.

“Hearts of Oak is ready, I am sure you have of our phrase, never say die, so we are ready,” he concluded.

Sports Minister, Isaac Asiamah also promising that the Ministry is working hard to ensure that it comes to fruition.

The GFA has presented an elaborate plan to clubs detailing a road map to bringing football back in the country under strict COVID-19 protocols.

The new Ghana Premier League season will be played in two zones, i.e, the Norther and Southern zone.
