Thousands of NDC faithfuls, supporters, citizens of Nkankam and surrounding communities trooped to Nkankama today, 7th October 2020 to give a rousing welcome to the running mate of the largest opposition Party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress, NDC, as part of her 5 days tour in the eastern region.
Supporters trooped to the school park from 7am and waited till around 4:30pm when theProf. Jane arrived.
In a cheerful atmosphere, it sounded that the NDC has a majority votes in the Nkankama, Obooho, Ayesu, Ayesu Besia, and the likes.
Accompanied by the NDC national Chairman, Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the former eastern regional minister and former ambassador to UK, Ambassador Victor Smith, the MP for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the national Youth organiser and other party hierrarchies, they assured the gathering hope and appealed to the to give them another chance to lead Ghana.
The residents and traditional leaders assured them of their total supports .
