DCE Hot As Assembly Members Vow To Reject His Re-nomination

About two thirds of the current Assembly members in the fanteakwa south district in the eastern region have registered their displeasure to the attempt to renominate the incumbent District Chief Executive, Hon. kwasi Ntori Adjabeng for his second term as DCE.

According to concerned Assembly members, the second tenure of office of the DCE would be disastrous, in that the district will heavily lag behind should he be given the nod as the DCE.

In a press briefing today by the concerned Assembly members in the district who have vowed to vote against the candidature of Hon. Ntori Adjabeng, they revealed that they need a unifier and a man of development without which the district will continue to lag behind.

Moreover, they disclosed and pledged their support for one of the longest serving Assembly members in the district Hon. Ernest Ofosu who doubles as the incumbent presiding member for the district and has been the Assembly member for Bepoase electoral area since 2010.

Hon. Ernest Ofosu who also looked determined to unseat his boss is the Fanteakwa south NPP constituency financial secretary and also an acting treasurer for same constituency. He is the District NABCO Coordinator.

Rumour has it that three candidates including the incumbent DCE are contesting for the seat but Hon. Ernest Ofosu seemed to be more closer to winning than the incumbent and the party secretary in the contest.
