Sad news emanating from the camp of football lovers in Ghana and abroad has it that the loving mother of former Black Stars player kum former AC Milan palyer, Sulley Aliu Muntari, who is well known in Ghana as Hajia Kande is confirmed dead.
Hajia Kande who happened to be the number one supporter of her son is said to have been battling with an illness in a while but unfortunately passed on today 30th May 2021 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Hajia Kande used to every platform available to her to hail her son and was ready at anytime to defend her son Sulley Muntari.
Suleyman Ali “Sulley” Muntari (born 27 August 1984) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder.
During his time with Internazionale, he helped the team win the Champions League in 2009–10 and the Serie A title in 2008–09 and 2009–10. He was also part of the Portsmouth team that won the FA Cup in 2007–08. After becoming a full international in 2002, Muntari earned over 80 caps for the Ghanaian national team and was selected for two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and three FIFA World Cups. He is the elder brother of Tambov player Sulley Muniru.
In 2017, Sulley Muntari lost his father and coincidentally loses his mother also in May. May Her soul rest in perfect peace.
