Afropolitan Imagery From Ghana Beats Contenders From France, Ivory Coast, To Win The 5th FIMDA

Festival International De La Mode D’Abidjan (FIMDA) is the most talked about fashion event in Ivory Coast.

This year’s happened to be the fifth edition which took place at Koumassi-Abidjan.

The event commenced with an exhibition of products by designers such as clothes, accessories and makeup among others. It was concluded with a circular runway fashion show where various talents from hairdos, accessories, clothes etc around a fountain.

There were international models and designers from France and other countries. The Member of Parliament as well as his Deputy also availed themselves to grace the event.

Mr. Stéphane Mambo(the president of FIMDA) together with his team appreciated the works of the designers. They also recognized Afropolitan Imagery (the official photography team) for their hard work and sacrifices. It was their second time in Ivory Coast for such an event. They proved their greatest appreciation by giving a merit certificate and an award to the team (Afropolitan Imagery).
