NABCO Was Just A Waste Of National Resources – NDC’s Opare Djan

The Managing Editor for Daily Democrat, Mr Emmanuel Opare Djan who doubles as a national communication team member for NDC has said the NABCO program of the NPP government was just a waste of the National Resources.

Mr Emmanuel Opare Djan speaking on Radio1 morning show with Nana Kwabena Addo on 1st of November, 2021 made some surprising facts on the flagship program promised by NPP during the 2016 campaign.

He stated that the NPP government gave Ghanaians some opinion about NABCO which was to provide Sustainable Jobs and after three years they would be permanently employed.

Moreover, He said the NDC at that time raised concerns on how to have a smooth run of NABCO. “Anybody who completes university should do National service and after the service, one can have an option to choose NABCO either a year or two more to cut unemployment but the NPP didn’t give an ear.

Also, Opare Djan said, “now the three years is due and the government is asking them to go for leave so my question is, is it a leave to stay or to go home. If the NPP government doesn’t employ them permanently then they have deceived Ghanaians.”

He charged the NPP government to be honest because they clearly said, they will recruit another set of hundred thousand after giving this badge permanent jobs. “How many have gotten the jobs and what are they doing to the rest and the assurance that the next will come?” – He asked

In conclusion, Emmanuel Opare Djan said the only problem affecting the NPP is that they always want to create new things like what the president said when launching the Alternative livelihood for Mining and Forestry last week.
