In a grand ceremony on 2nd January 2022 at the premise of the Holiday Inn at Osino, the ‘first star’ hotel in the fanteakwa South district in the eastern region, Kumanini Holiday Inn was officially opened for business.
The occasion saw various guests from far and near to witness the unprecedented glamour and was climaxed with music and entertainment among other exciting activities.
The special ceremony was chaired by Nana Gyedu Kumanini IV (Otumfuor Brempong/Chairman) and was supported by Osabarima Otu Darko IV, chief of Osino and acting Benkumhene of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area. The member of parliament for the fanteakwa South Constituency, Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum popularly called Hon. Arafat was the special guest.
All great speeches from the speakers encouraged the C.E.O of Kumanini Holiday Inn who doubles as the Kyidomhene of Amakye Bare, Nana Osei Tutu Kumanini for establishing such facility in the district other than taking it to his hometown. They also emphasised on the employment opportunity the facility will offer in the district.

The Anyinam district commander, Superintendent Joseph Owusu also took turn to elaborate on the security measures to help maintain the status of facility.
There were also intermittent cultural displays and live band musical interludes.
