Breaking: Official Vehicles Of Eastern Regional Director of Education, Accountant, Impounded To Settle Judgment Debt

The official vehicles of the eastern regional Director of education and that of the regional Accountant have been impounded, yet to be auctioned to settle judgment debt.

While the Birim South Director of Education managed to run away with the car key, the vehicle is yet to be towed.

Eighteen other vehicles are also yet to be impounded and later auctioned to settle a whooping GHS 3,471,240.72 judgment debt.

This happened as a directive from the Koforidua High Court judge, Justice Gifty Dekyem (Mrs), requested for Police Protection and to assist the Bailliffs to execute writ of Fieri Facias to one Eric Effah Darko who won a suit against the Ghana Education service and the Attorney General.

“I would be most grateful if your outfit could detail some police men to protect and assist the bailiffs to execute Writ of Fieri Facias to plaintiff/judgment/creditor on the above-mentioned vehicles belonging to the 1st Defendant/judgment/Debtor, Ghana Education Service, Koforidua, Eastern Region.”
