Court Processes Frustrate Ghanaians; I’m Looking For a Chief Justice Who’ll Reform The Judiciary – Nana Akomea

State Transport Corporation (STC) CEO, Nana Akomea, has slammed the Judiciary over its delay in rendering justice to cases in court.

Nana Akomea, speaking in relation to the recent arrests of some Journalists in the country, wondered why it should take years for a case to be dealt with in court.

He stressed this is why many people don’t send their issues to court because they feel its a waste of time.

Using himself as a case study, he narrated a false allegation someone leveled against him which, to him, should he decide to file a law suit would take him about three years for justice to be served; so he isn’t inspired to go to court.

To Nana Akomea, ”the court processes frustrate Ghanaians”.

He hope for a ”Chief Justice in Ghana who will reform the Judiciary in such a way that justice will not be this expensive and never end. It’s the Judiciary that said that justice delayed is justice denied. The way that our laws/court or Judiciary processes are, it doesn’t favour justice”.

He made these submissions Tuesday morning on Peace FM’s ”Kokrokoo”.
