Maame Jane of Osofo Dadzie fame has said she has nothing to boast of after almost five decades of acting.
Speaking to Kingdom Plus FM, the distraught thespian who has been operating in Kumawood for some time now also said people had erroneously thought he she was rich because actors are deemed wealthy people.

She added that movie producers have stopped calling her for movie roles which has even aggravated her position. “Producers and directors don’t call me anymore. If they do, I would have gotten something small in my pocket. Unfortunately, they have neglected me”, she added.
“Does that mean you quit acting?”, the host questioned her. In response, Mama Jane stated that she cannot stop acting because it has become part of her. “I can’t stop acting. I’ve been doing this since Osofo Dadzie era. That’s almost 50 years now. Until I die, I’ll continue to act. I’ve even informed one producer to make a movie with my dead body before they bury me. That’s when I die”, Mama Jane emotionally responded.
