Three Decades And Still Counting, It’s Hiplife Legend Tic’s Birthday

While many musicians are still struggling to maintain momentum in the music industry, Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah, affectionately called Tic is still hit and recognized in the industry after 3 decades.

As he turns 42 today, Tic, formerly Tic Tac is still impressive and now combining music with Hospitality management.

Nana Kwaku Kyere Duah was born on 12th March 1980 in the Ahanti region of Ghana. He has since 1995 been present and recognised.

TiC as he is known and called owns Gennex Pizza (Restaurant and Grill) and has about 5 branches nationwide (i.e. Dansoman, Weija, Kumasi, Konongo and Nsutam branches). The citizenry from all walks of life appreciate the hardworking musician cum businessman for adding restaurant to his assets.

TiC reached a wider audience when he was featured on Azigiza’s song “Woye Bia”, which was a hit in Ghana. Collaborations with Slim Busterr and Daasebre Gyamenah followed. In 1999 TiC released his debut solo album, Philomena, which spawned several hits

TiC has performed internationally, alongside artists such as 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Kanda Bongo Man, and Buju Banton. He is cureently trending in Ghana for his hit single Kwani Kwani (Remix) featuring Kuami Eugene.
