Critical thinking Ghanaians bash ‘childish’ Augustine Okrah for headbutting a referee during the FA Cup final

Augustine Okrah, a striker for Bechem United, has been disciplined for his unsportsmanlike conduct during the MTN FA Cup final versus Hearts of Oak on June 26, 2022.
In response to Okrah’s headbutting of Stephen Balanguena, Ghanaian football fans resorted to social media to voice their displeasure.

An unforgivable behaviour by Okrah in the second half of the contest resulted in his dismissal.

When a throw-in went against him instead of in his favor, the speedster lost his cool.

Bechem had already fallen down 2-1 when the incident occurred, and the former Asante Kotoko player, who had been playing well before to the incident, lost his cool and headbutted Balanguena after becoming enraged about the decision.

Okrah was widely criticized for the Hunters’ 2-1 loss in the game.

Others blasted the winger, calling his behavior “inappropriate” and “childish” in nature.
