I’ll never step foot into Akufo-Addo’s cathedral – Kumawood actor Nana Yeboah

Popular Kumawood actor Nana Yaw Yeboah known has vowed never to enter the National Cathedral under construction by the Akufo Addo government.
One of the controversial topics for debate in the country is the construction of the National Cathedral. A lot of Ghanaians have stood against the decision to build the cathedral with taxpayers’ monies.

President Nana Ado revealed that the construction of the National Cathedral was going to be financed with public funds. His comment did not sit well with a lot of people especially the opposition NDC who stood against the decision.

Speaking in n interview on Ghanaman TV on the “Show Kanawu”, comedian Nana Yaw Yeboah stated that monies being used for the construction of the cathedral should be channeled to other projects like the construction of roads.

“Even if you build that Chapel, I Yeboah Asiamah will not enter. It is wrong for you to say you are building a Cathedral, totally wrong. How is it possible for somebody from afar to travel all the way to Accra before he can access the Temple and worship?” Nana Yeboah asked

“Use the money to construct roads instead so that people can attest to the fact that you are indeed developing the country. How can you take such an amount to build a church? I will never enter it”, he added.
