Multiple award-winning rapper Michael Owusu also known as Sarkodie has cleared the air on the perception that he is stingy.
There is no doubt that a lot of people love Sarkodie for his talent and songs however, one perception people have churn for the rapper is that he is a stingy person.

In countless interviews, Sarkodie has responded to the tag of being arrogant and stingy. According to him, many people tag him stingy because he is not seen mostly sharing money with fans in public like his other artists do when they are spotted in town.

In another interview with South African musician Mac G. on “Podcast and Chill”, the rapper debunked the accusations of being stingy and not being helpful to his fans like other artists.


Reiterating his slogan “money no problem”, he mentioned that there have been several instances he has lent a helping hand of the cameras.

“I am not stingy, I don’t like giving money on camera because, in his opinion, it is disrespectful to tell the media after lending someone a helping hand”, he said.
