I believe Agradaa is born again that’s why I sold my church to her – Apae Live

Vodafone award-winning Ghanaian musician Derrick Oboubie Jnr known as J.Derobie has said that he agrees to the claims that his hit track “Poverty” is more popular than him.
The 2020 VGMA Reggae dancehall song of the year has opined that a lot of people dance to his hit track “Poverty” but do not know the artist behind the song.

During an interview with Kastle Entertainment Show with Amansan Krakye, J. Derobie was asked by the host if truly he believes that his track Poverty is much more popular than him. He stated that he agrees with the claims of Ghanaians.

He answered “Oh I agree to that to some extent that my poverty hit song is bigger than me or well-known than me because the song really went viral.

“Some people even learned how to sing the words of my poverty song before I did the recording of the song in the studio,” he added on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.

“I will agree to some extent that indeed the poverty song is more popular even than me who sang the song,” J.Derobie disclosed to Amansan Krakye.
