Guru NKZ, a Ghanaian artist, has been mourning his late wife in Sydney, Australia. The artist flew all the way to Australia for his wife Nana Akua’s burial.
Guru paid respect to the wife during the burial, and he had only kind things to say about his dearly departed.
Speaking during his burial in Australia, he described meeting Nana Akua in Ghana around 11 years ago, when he broke into the mainstream Ghana music scene.
Nana Akua became pregnant during the early stages of their relationship, but they couldn’t legally marry since she had to return to Australia.
She gave birth to their only child, Agyei Yeboah, while in Australia.
Guru claims he made plans to marry her but discovered her family was late and her mother was also in Australia with her.
For several years getting a visa to Australia to marry her probed futile.
Eventually, when they were finally ready to marry, Nana Akua got seriously sick which led to her Brɛast getting chopped.
Unfortunately, Nana Akua is no more and her funeral took place in Sidney, Australia.
