Zongo is perceived as the stronghold of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, however, a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, in the Fanteakwa South constituency differs.
He has therefore advised that Ghanaians put a stop to the assertion that Zongos are for NDC’s.
“I am a Muslim and from Zongo. We have followed NPP for long and we do win appreciable votes. So for anyone to say Zongos are for the NDC is a lie. They must end that perception” – Alhaji Abdul Razak said.
He added in an interview with Obido that 2024 will be a demonstration that Zongos are not for NDC.
Alhaji Abdul Razak explained further that if that was so some time ago, then the dynamics have change. NDC does not own Zongos.
Alhaji Abdul Razak doubles as the development chief of Akyem Nsutam. It is rumored that Alhaji Abdul Razak will be contesting in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries in the Fanteakwa South primaries.
