The Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa South Constituency in the eastern region, Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum popularly known as Arafat holds a thanksgiving service at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana – Grace Congregation, Osino for saving him from death.
Hundreds of party faithfuls including Ministers, MPs, Executives near and far joined Hon. Arafat and family to offer their utmost appreciation to the almighty God.
In his testimony, Hon Arafat revealed that in August 2022, while sleeping in his bedroom, the entire house collapsed except the said bedroom he was lodging in.
“In August last year when sleeping in my bedroom, I heard a voice in my sleep calling me to rush out immediately. Just as I woke up and sat on my bed, the whole building collapsed leaving only my bedroom, where I was lodging. I managed through a small hole before I could get out. Why won’t I thak God for saving me? He knows I’m not done with my constituency. He knows I’m not done with what I have to do as Member of Parliament for the constituency ” – Hon Arafat said.
He used the opportunity to advise the gathering to learn how to use their money to support God’s work and thanked God on behalf of his family; wife and children.
The occasion was also graced by chiefs and queen mothers in the constituency, the clergy, friends and sympathisers of Hon. Arafat.
