NIA suspends all operations in Eastern Region

Mr. Ntim Ofori, the Eastern Regional Head of the National Identification Authority (NIA), has revealed that the operation at the various district offices in the country has been suspended.

According to him, NIA is currently operating at headquarters and regional offices for Ghana card registration in the country.

Speaking in an interview Radiooneghana.com monitored, Ntim Ofori added that NIA is running a premium service in all regional capitals, adding that applicants must pay an additional fee.

He stated that the premium service is an example service for applicants that will allow Ghanaians to receive their card the same day they register.

“Applicants who want to replace their cards or change their information must pay a fee of 110 GH,” he said.

Mr. Ntim Ofori urged Ghanaians to use the premium service to sign up for the Ghana card.
