Green Energy Ghana donates Green Organic Fertilizers to farmers

A company called Green Energy Ghana has donated green organic fertilizers to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to supply them to the general farmers in the country.

Green Energy Ghana has brought organic fertilizers to the market, which is going to benefit farmers and the general public.  Coming to Ghana, farmers are really working hard and also providing their maximum effort to produce more food for the country. Due to this, they have come in to help the farmers and the general public who are into farming grow more food for the country.

The amount of fertilizer that was donated was worth GHC 32,000.00; that’s 320 bags of rich organic fertilizer.

The Managing Director for Green Energy Ghana, Mr. Mark Havor, said, “The reason for this donation to the farmers is to celebrate the farmers prior to the farmer’s day, which is to happen in December next month.”

In his interview on Ahotor 92.3 FM, he added, “Our fertilizers are rich in organic and are made locally, which is suitable for our weather conditions, and at a very low cost, which makes them affordable to purchase”.

During the donation, the receiver of the items, Hon. Mohammed Haddi Tufaru, Dept. The Minister of Food and Agriculture in charge of Stocks also showed their appreciation on behalf of the ministry and the general public to Green Energy Ghana for their kind donation and support to the farmers. 

He further added, “Organic fertilizers will be the solution to the high cost of fertilizers in the country specifically inorganic fertilizers.” He promised that the fertilizers would be shared with the farmers to benefit them all.”
