You can trust me to do better – Aspiring assemblyman begs

Mr. Richmond Ofori, popularly known as “Super,” vying for the position of Assemblyman in the Winitinase Electoral Area at Kwabeng in the Atiwa West District, asserts that his track record of initiating developmental projects sets him apart from past and current assembly members.

Despite not holding the official position, he claims to have made significant contributions to the progress of his electoral area, and he urges the residents to vote for him in the upcoming election.

Mr. Richard’s primary focus is on development, emphasizing that the Winitinase Electoral Area is lagging behind in terms of progress. He pledges to bring about substantial development if elected, citing ongoing projects even before assuming office, such as providing two mechanized boreholes and a public toilet to address the impact of mining on water bodies in the area.

“Development is my priority… This electoral area lacks development. If I come to power, I promise to bring a lot of development because that’s why they voted for me,” he declared.

Despite not being an Assemblyman yet, Mr. Ofori sees his current initiatives as just the beginning and envisions a more developed area with the support of the community.

The challenges faced by the people of Winitinase Electoral Area, including poor road networks, a lack of potable water, and the absence of a landfill, are issues Mr. Ofori is determined to address. He highlights that he has already started addressing these challenges and emphasizes the need for community support. Mr. Ofori identifies himself as a visionary leader with valuable connections and links, positioning him well to bring about significant developmental projects.

“Problems in my electoral area include bad roads, an extension of electricity, and a lack of a refuse dump… Now is the time for the people of Winitinase Electoral Area to vote for a leader like me to bring more development to the area,” he stated.

Mr. Ofori concludes by asserting that, despite not holding the Assemblyman position, he has achieved more than his predecessors and challenging their accountability for their actions during their terms.
