E/R: Two arrested during NPP Primaries

The National Patriotic Party’s (NPP) primaries in Fanteakwa South took an unexpected turn as controversy and tension characterized the electoral process.

Amidst allegations of misconduct in Fanteakwa South, two individuals found themselves on the wrong side of the law, facing arrests. These two were arrested after taking pictures of the votes.

According to Radio 1’s Obido Nana Gyasi, the two, who are in their early 30s, took pictures of their votes after they were promised money if they voted for a particular candidate.

The names of the two were not given to the media, as the police said they were giving the case an additional investigation.
