Daasebre Boamah Darko, the Chief of Akyem Kukurantumi and also the Adontenhene of Akyem Abuakwa traditional area in Eastern region has taken decisive action by destooling four sub-chiefs due to their abuse of power.
The affected chiefs are Nana Kwasi Otchere Kwakye, the Sanaahene of Kukurantumi, Amoah Oduro, Ankobeahene, Gifty Oppong, Ankobeahene, and Asare Bremang, Kyidomhene.
According to a statement issued by the palace and signed by the Secretary, customary rites, including the slaughtering of sheep, have been performed in accordance with tradition.
This reshuffle underscores the Chief’s commitment to upholding the integrity and values of the chieftaincy institution, ensuring that those entrusted with leadership roles serve with honor and accountability.
