Social media reacts to Afua Asantewaa’s sing-a-thon disqualification

The Guinness World Records (GWR) has disqualified Ghana’s Afua Asantewaa’s sing-a-thon attempt.

The announcement broke out on Friday, February 23 after an X user enquired about the record attempt.

The GWR in tweet to respond to the enquiry said “unfortunately, Afua’s Guinness World Record attempt for the longest singing marathon was not successful but we hope that she will make another attempt soon.”

The announcement of her disqualification has sparked various reactions from Ghanaians on X.

While some have expressed shock over the news and wished her best of luck others seem to be happy due to a recent comment against Ghanaians.
