During a Morning Show on Radio 1, Aiknis Ofori, the National Democratic Congress (NDC ) communication officer for Abuakwa South, made a startling statement.
He expressed that “President Nana Addo and his vice, Dr. Bawumia, should seek forgiveness from God because their actions had allegedly brought a curse upon the Akyem people”.
According to him, the President has disappointed his people and has incurred the wrath of God on them.
Stating on how to get the curse off he said: “The Akyem people to beseech their gods to lift this curse, as it could lead to generational suffering”.
When asked by the host Sompa Hemaa Ama Adiepene if he will attend the 67th Independent Day celebration Aiknis Ofori answered that he would not be attending this year’s Independence Day celebration because he wants to pray for the country and the president (Akufo-Add0).
“I will be attending, I have to go home and pray to God to forgive Akufo Addo and Bawumia and that is what all Ghanaians should do,” he said.
